Consisting of 144 self-contained problem-solving activities, this resource is designed to provide children with open-ended, constructional and investigative activities within the structure of a science and/or technology course. The intention is that teachers enrich an existing course by selecting and integrating suitable activities into the established scheme of work. These activities have been designed primarily for use in Years 7, 8 and 9, covering Key Stage 3 of the National Curriculum in the areas of Science and Technology. The resource is organized into a teacher's manual and three work packs containing photocopiable work cards for use by the children.
