Bringing Up Baby- Gil is the second Watson brother and runs the family business. He is a by the book, neat freak whose world gets turns upside down when he discovers he is a father after the mother passes away. He is all ready to step up despite the complications Anabel Truman presents. Anabel had raised his daughter, and she presents him with a fascinating offer. I was nervous about this tale, but Foster gave a believable tale that made me laugh and swoon.
Good With His Hands- This last story takes place years later and features the youngest Watson brother's tale. Pete's world turns upside down when he realizes he has feelings for the girl next door. Good with Her Hands, This was a fun tale, although to be honest my least favorite. Pete was young and awkward. I kept wanting to smack him on the back of the head whenever he tried to articulate his feelings and put his foot in his mouth.
The Watson Brothers is narrated by Jim Frangione . While not a memorable performance, he did a good job reading the tales and I quickly consumed the audio. It was fun trying some of Foster's earlier stories. These were originally written in 2008.
