A book to re-read, over and over! The writing is smart and downright beautiful; the characterization, superlative! For me, the book depicted the angst of those later teen years, as the MCs discovered who they were and who they wanted to be, so realistically.

And I LOVED Red!!! Root crops indeed! :)
