This book draws lessons for us today from the life of Joshua, whom the Lord used to bring the children of Israel into the good land. At the end of his life, Joshua declared, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!" (Joshua 24:15). He said this as someone who had the spiritual experience to support such a statement.
