Simon Mackenzie has just left the second of two personally disastrous house-shares and views starting out alone as a mobile valet as the perfect escape from his personal troubles. Yet as he throws himself into his new job Mackenzie continues to struggle with his own bitter and painful take of recent events and soon slips back into old practices as he gets involved in problems which aren't really his. After inadvertently uncovering an illegal operation run by a somewhat shady MP and a Slovakian gangster Mackenzie has to face his own personal demons while doing his best to put a halt to their plans. Assisted by an equally determined Government receptionist Mackenzie's quest takes him from the streets of London to a secret training camp in the New Forest in Hampshire before a dramatic conclusion at the Tilbury Docks; but will they be in time to finish what the MP and the Slovak have started?
