Katie's Art of Seduction started out promising, but soon got bogged down by all the minute details. It made for an excruciatingly read. I felt that things happened so quickly between Katie and Cain, that their attraction was non-existent. I thought Cain was one of the worst heroes; he was cold, uncompromising and totally undeserving of Katie's affection. Frankly, he was an ass and nothing he did redeemed himself for me. I guess I was supposed to feel sorry for him because of his horrible childhood and his deformity, but I didn't. Katie needed more of a backbone and warranted someone a whole lot better than Cain.
