Oh well done, Ms. Winters, well done! Here we get two love stories; one story about an established couple separated, albeit briefly, by the death of one of the partners and the second story about two men meeting and despising each other on sight but willing to set aside their differences for the love of the surviving Uncle.

And just sayin' - You made me dislike Alex immediately, painting a portrait of arrogance, detachment, selfishness...you get the picture. And just when my assessment began to solidify into near-hatred, you gave a glimpse of the lonely, abandoned child that begat the man and my heart melted just a little bit. And with each revelation of Alex's history I melted a little more until I ached for a child left in the care of adults with no love to share. Brilliantly done!
