Cobwebs is a book centering on Charlie, a hat I put on--
at the intersection of Charlie Brown, and burnt out-- meets Charles Bukowski, only cheap beer, no ego, and in Masshachusetts--
A star's supernova, and a piss-pot in a train station bathroom-- he feels stupid, doesn't even feel insane--
He wants to write, doesn't really know why. Or how.
Some storires are by Charlie-- some little voodoo doll named Sweeper, to try to understand his/Charlie's psychotic episode--
and then we find Charlie himself-- trying to be normal, date, be a writer, aspirting, and also working-- low end jobs-- thru his 20's--
but somehow he walks alone-- rarely talks about his feelings-- on and on the tolls from drowning in alchol, to palliate-- and the losses of a few loves, leave him next to the gutter-- or walking from his parent's middle class house, to the gutter, after his apartment and fiancee washed away in Whiskey-- linked short stories centering on recovering from mental illness, lobotomy and alcohol drip--
