Back cover synopsis

Prince Frederick von Strenge makes a terrible mistake and causes a short circuit in his computer.

Mousey is travelling along the dis-used WebLine and his journey has stopped abruptly in Fred's computer.

Mousey calls him VAP because he sees that he is a Very Active Prince and they become great friends. They go on holiday together, using the dis-used WebLine. VAP meets and falls in love with a girl called Chip. She thinks he's interesting but has no idea that he is turning into a monitor frog. They keep in contact by computer.

Until Mousey changes everything.

One day VAP uses the dis-used WebLine but he is not as clever as Mousey and ends up lost. He is chased by Federoca and no one understands who or what she is.

He asks Chip for help, who persuades her parents and Mousey to rescue him. They pull him out of a crevice and he is slimy and green. Fred is embarrassed and no one hears from him for a long time.

Mrs Micro thinks that the situation is very funny and writes a book about Fred's strange behaviour. The book is a great success and is made into a film.

They are invited to Los Angeles for the `First Night'. Alu warns his wife about taking Fred with them but she says everything will be all right.

VAP starts to turn bright green and hides in a small studio.

Everybody (except Fred) knows how the story goes. Finally, he kisses Chip and returns back to his normal colour.
