This book takes the form of an extended dialogue between a Zen master and experts from various walks of life on fundamental questions of life, death, dying and rebirth. The author shows that the teachings of Zen Buddhism fit well with recent scientific evidence about consciousness. The author became a Buddhist in 1950 and after studying under Dr D.T.Suzuki at Columbia University, he trained in Japan for 13 years. He is Roshi of the Zen Centre, Rochester, New York which he founded in 1966.
