I have never eye-rolled so hard at a book. I have never been more annoyed by the writing, dialogue, characters, and (lack of) development. I have never been so thoroughly appalled by a book's ability to create a love triangle for no reason, then attempt to get me to believe it through the (does it even exist?) plot. I had zero expectations for this book, so it could only get better, right? Wow, wow.

Oh, to be back in the lives of Rid and Link again. I loved seeing them in a new setting, surrounded by new and interesting people. The peeks into Rid's childhood exposed me to another side of her and gave her character more dimension. I cannot lie, I sort of liked Nox, a lot, by the end of the book. HOWEVER, the end was cruel. I cannot wait for the next book.
