This title provides an illuminating look at the work of leading Irish contemporary artist Anne Madden. Anne Madden is one of Ireland's foremost contemporary painters. Of Irish/Anglo-Chilean origin, she is also highly regarded in France where, with her husband, artist Louis le Brocquy, she has spent much of the last forty years. This book presents a selection of her works from the 1960s to the present, which can be found in the collection of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin, accompanied by the text of a lecture entitled 'Painting and Reality' which the artist gave as part of the IMMA Winter Lecture, in 2007.
