Immortal Heart is a prequel to Few Are Angels about Kale that takes place before he met Ella. I was excited to read this to learn more about Kale how his life was 100 years pre Ella, meeting his friend Deacon and learning about Sola and if she was ‘the one’ for Kale.

I enjoyed reading this but without Ella it was kind of strange.

I guess it may have been better if I had read this before Few Are Angels and it puts a lot of things in place with Kale.

It was a little slow to begin with but did pick up pace and again well written but I would recommend that if people want to read the series they might like to start with this one.
