The flashback issues aside...the rest of this book was fantastic. You could tell the author did her homework. The writing was great. The twist was well executed. The method acting plot was intriguing. I'd never want to date an actor like Lucas. That shit is just crazy! (lol) I'm honestly not sure how I feel about him. He was a great hero (most of the time), but when he went off the rails, he REALLY went off the f-cking rails. Mia on the other hand was a great heroine all the way through. Strong. Feisty. I'm not sure "I" would have gave Lucas another chance, but at least she made him work (somewhat) for it and didn't immediately run right back into his arms.
So yea, overall it was a great read. If the author had dropped a few of the flashbacks and plumped up the present timeline it probably would have been a 5-Star book for me.
SAFETY SPOILERS There is scene early in the book with the hero getting a BJ from a co-star. This happens YEARS before he met the heroine. There is a semi-graphic on set sex scene between the hero and his co-star. The heroine walks in on him filming it. There is no cheating, but the hero french kisses his co-star. This is after they are married (6 years) and after they had agreed no tongue kissing, however there is a reason the director asks him to do that, and when the heroine finds out she understands. That kiss plays a part in the rift that separates them. There is also a couple exes we see briefly neither cause any issues.
