This was disappointing.
I had mixed feelings about the Powder Mage trilogy, but I really enjoyed Sins of Empire!
This book though... I dunno.
For one thing, it was waaaaay too long and some parts were just unnecessary.
I think flintlock fantasy is not for me, the only series with guns I truly loved is the Lightbringer series and guns are certainly used, but not pivotal to the plot.
I think I'm not gonna read the last book in this trilogy, I'm just not excited about it
