I kind of loved Lord of Devil Isle!! It's set in Bermuda, where Captain Nick and his crew make berth. He's not a pirate, but he's certainly not a gentlemen either. He is, however, a good man of honor and makes his living honestly as he follows the law of the sea. During one storm, he has sights on claiming a ship that's caught on the reef, but when he spots three women in the water he stops to help them instead. Sure Nick misses out on a lot of goods, but he finds something even better: a foul-mouthed woman to call his own!

When a man wrestles a shark in the opening chapters of a book, I know it's going to be a winner! Lord of Devil Isle! was channeling Sharknado! Minus the chainsaw. It was just so absurd, but I loved it! And it set the tone for an exciting and humorous romance. Nick is immediately intrigued by Eve, since of course, women aren't know to swear, let alone sound worse than his crew! But Eve isn't exactly swept off her feet by the handsome Captain, since he goes about romance all wrong. He knows how to please a woman, but he's hesitant to get his heart involved. And Eve is not happy to be claimed as his mistress, which Nick thinks is an amazing offer. Men. *scoff*

There really isn't a lot I want to say about Lord of Devil Isle!. I just really enjoyed it. I loved the characters and the setting! It had the type of humor that I actually get, so I did laugh out loud a few times. There's some pretty good sexy times thrown in as well. It was just a feel good read and kept me entertained from beginning to end.
