Richie "Ryder" Raymond has a gift. He can find the punchline in any situation, even in his limited vision and prosthetic eye. En este libro Ryder tiene que enfrentarse a ser especial por razones diferentes a las que él está acostumbrado. Beth Vrabel lo hace de una manera entretenida de leer, dándole dignidad a sus personajes, sin la necesidad de irse al extremo melodramático.

A Blind Guide to Normal es divertido, un poco ridículo a veces, es el tipo de libro que nos deberían dar en el colegio, un libro que normalice la discapacidad, que nos muestre tanto a adultos y niños como el que una persona sea diferente y haga las cosas de manera diferente, no lo hace más o menos.
