In her digitally manipulated photographs and installations, German artist Claudia Rogge (born 1968) deconstructs social roles by dramatizing them. Taking such clich s as the innocent child, the grim executioner and the masked temptress, Rogge replicates their images ad nauseam until all meaning is drained from them.
