Ok, admittedly I did not read the synopsis, which clearly states, “Houston, we have a problem.” I hate relationship drama and miscommunication and that is where we find ourselves. Grrr. Morgan and Grey both have strong personalities and this led to Morgan and Lana moving back to their own house. Which causes Grey to lose himself to his Wolf. Both are stubborn and clueless. I know a thirteen-year-old wolf with more sense in her pinkie toe. Shanley does know how to spin a yarn though and I found myself caught up in developing friendships within the packs, all while giving our couple the stink eye.
Shanley takes us on one heck of an action packed ride when Lana and Morgan finding themselves in danger. Grey and Wolf go berserk and man did I feel sorry for the fools who messed with him. Despite being, a novella Shanley gave us a nice beginning, middle and end without it feeling rushed. I love the interaction between the wolf packs and despite wanting to slap Grey, his wolf and Morgan in the back of the head a few times; I totally enjoyed the ride, got all of the feels and will be back for more.
