An enjoyable novella set in between Deadly Descendant and Rogue Descendant. Nikki, avoiding Anderson and back to her normal PI business takes on a client, Heather, looking for the father of her one-night stand baby. Immediately Jenna Black lets you know something isn't right with Heather.

I won't spoil the short story, but this is an excellent little novella set in the Nikki Glass world. Wasn't totally in love with everything about this novella but definitely a nice little tie-in to the series.

I really enjoy this series, though I thought this short story was a little lacking. I guess I missed the rest of Liberi. I do like Jack, but I want to see more of Jamaal. It was good to tide me over and bring me back into this world before the next book comes out at the end of this month.
