I have been taking photos now for over 20 years and over the years I have shot thousands of images and every time I have to find one specific image for a job or project I am struck by that nerve of, "Wow, this one is special." So I decided that now was the time, this time when I am relatively retired from capturing new images, to go thru that library of shots and pull out my "Favorite Things", i.e., those images that make me emotionally damp. They are varied across all genres in color and black and white, portrait, landscape, and narrative, all strung together by one unique thread: They ARE my favorite things even if most people would just whizz by them while scanning the lot. Some are obvious, others more obtuse.
