Michael Pollock was a young officer in the 8th Army's campaign against Rommel in the Libyan desert. He was universally loved for his outgoing character and sense of fun. Some months earlier he had come to know Jesus Christ through a letter written by his brother John. He wrote home describing the way his love of Christ was transforming his life and the lives of others around him. Michael died of war wounds at the age of 22 and now, 50 years after his death, his brother looks back and recaptures the delight of his friendship with Michael.
