This is a collection of three plays for performance at Christmas. They are not nativity plays but aim in their different ways to present the fundamental meaning of Christmas. The plays are designed for school performance. The first play, "A Merry Dance" tells the story of a wealthy family, whose children's obsession with two life-size dolls threatens to ruin Christmas. The dolls themselves finally take action and peace is restored. The second play, "Noel" re-enacts the Nativity story from an unusual angle and the third play, "Christopher Christmas" presents a "quest" and a "test" motif.
