The daughter of Lilith and Lucifer tries to find her brother on earth, and the key to his disappearance is Obie, a suicidal teen boy.

Yovanoff is a great writer, and I feel like she brought a fresh take on the YA angel/devil theme. Despite the heavy topics, The Space Between isn't too ponderous, although I wouldn't call it light-hearted either.
