WARTS-AND-ALL The author has sensibly avoided glamorising his career and told it as it really was warts-and-all. The stories are authentic, fascinating and an invaluable insight into the reality of commercial diving. Somehow he survived having his back broken in a craning accident and thanks to the work of a skilled surgeon and relentless and agonising physiotherapy; he has worked his way back. This is an interesting read and many will readily identify with his adventurous life. There's a lot of pictures
