The story of Tom, an obsessive Englishman who is in France researching stories of sudden deaths; he is sure that he can raise public awareness and save people from exploding vacuum cleaners and high risk kitchen zones. It is also the story of Sandrine, a French woman who falls in love with Tom. She pursues him to Paris where he plans to take his life in a staged sudden death accident to promote his message for the greater good. Tunnel Vision is narrated in turns by Tom in a literary style and from the point of view of Sandrine in a romantic manner. There is a dramatic conclusion in Paris where Tom, Sandrine, her ex-boyfriend Pierre-Yves and her friend Helene the Ant (a kickboxing celebrity) meet in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower.
