Classic And Vintage Commercial Magazine If you want to live in reality and have an entertaining read, then this is a book for you. Starting in the 1930s as an impoverished schoolboy, C G Walker worked the hard way up the ladder in the haulage industry, before ending up with a sizeable operation of his own. OK, we have all read memories before, but not quite like this one 'The human element of this book is fascinating, and so much of what is recalled is typical of what went on in the transport industry - there is no beating about the bush here! I felt so at home reading this book that I did not want to put it down, it just sucks you in like a good novel should. The section called 'The Lessons Learned In My Life' is well worth reading and if you want to make it in this world, it is certainly a great inspiration!
