Emile Pouget's words were translated from the French by Arturo Giovannitti while in jail in 1912 - framed during the textile-workers' strike in Lawrence, Mass. For Pouget, Giovannitti, and the IWW, sabotage meant withdrawal of efficiency - including the slowdown, strike, and before a strike, creative bungling of equipment for the scabs. This little book found in Wobbly halls and reading rooms became part of the creed of the Industrial Workers of the World. Sold at cost here for use and not for profit.
