An Adventurous Cub Meets Nessssss by RN Dunne is a perfect read for young kids with a super important lesson in it. The lesson learned from the book I won’t tell you though since its an important part of the book. I don't want to ruin it for anyone that wants to read it.
What I liked:
I liked the cute little pictures in the book along with the chapter title graphics. Those were all awesome and made the book so cute. Kalpart did an amazing job on the graphics. Troy is a pretty awesome character even though he seems to have a knack for creating trouble. Darrel is another pretty awesome character, as he tries to keep Troy out of trouble. Mostly trouble that Troy has created. I liked the descriptions and how excited all the characters were about going on the camping trip.
What I didn’t like:
I didn’t like were sometimes a paragraph ended in the middle of a sentence and started a new paragraph within that same sentence. Another thing that I didn’t like was that some of the quotation marks didn’t make it around everything or only one was there at the beginning or at the end. So, some editing issues are my dislikes.
What I am curious about:
I do wonder if Ms. Dunne got the idea for this book by a similar experience as a Cub leader.
Five Stars
An Adventurous Cub Meets Nessssss by RN Dunne is an awesome read with an important lesson. I think this lesson in the book can also be true for adults as well. It’s a cute book and one that I recommend to all the moms reading this review who have 3 to 8-year -olds. Or older. I am giving this book 5 stars since yeah it is a short read for me but it held my attention and has a wonderful plot.
Anyways until the next time enjoy this review brought to you by
