The new edition of this comprehensive test-preparation manual has been radically revised and updated to reflect the most recent Graduate Record Exams in length, structure, question types, and degree of difficulty. The book features 00 model tests with answers and explanations. It also contains all new and up-to-date subject review material in its mathematics sections, as well as all new math questions in the model tests. Other important features include a 3,500-word (?) vocabulary building list, plus practice and review in sentence completion, reading comprehension, and all other test areas. The manual can be purchased with an optional CD-ROM that features a model test in the Computer Adaptive format. Computer Adaptive Tests present a succession of questions that are measured in difficulty according to the test taker's ability level, which is measured by responses to the test's initial questions. Since these tests are not linear, but are created from a behind-the-scenes pool of questions, the CD-ROM presents a test that is unique for each user. All questions are answered and explained, and exams are scored automatically.
