Initial thoughts: I really appreciated the honesty of both honours and the conversational nature with which they approached this book. You could tell that they're friends but each still had their own opinion, which made for a good blend of perspectives. The chapters that struck me most were the ones about tolerance in terms of balancing Christian beliefs against non-Christian ones, such that we stay true to our faith while treating those with differing beliefs with love. I think reconciling all that is something that's been nagging me for a long time, so I'm glad they addressed that in the way that challenges readers to examine themselves too.
As for the overarching theme of being too much or not enough? I found it very relatable since that dichotomy is something I've been called over and over again. Listening to the authors deconstruct all that while referring to specific Bible passages was pretty refreshing.
