My Tuxedo No Longer Fits is a book written by one who grew up in the 1950's and 1960's in a small textile village of rural Western North Carolina. I have recorded a bit of historic information concerning the mill, the mill village, the people in and around the village and the business enterprises located within the confines of this small community. The stories and tales are at times hilarious and sometimes render a sad theme. In this volume I share quite candidly some family issues that have caused embarassment and heartache as well as some of the good times in my growing up process. The people of Tuxedo and the ones that I had the priviledge to grow up with and have interaction with are some of the best on the planet. Written in simple a vernacular this is a fun book to read.
