If I ever need a pick me up, the books in this series do it every single time! In this installment of the four part series, our attention shifts to Reid, Max’s older brother. Having been gifted the most incredible aqua blue eyes known to man, Reid has never had to work for a woman’s attention. His sheer presence and “the look” is enough to make every woman (and a few men caught in the crossfire) swoon – including his new publicist, Jordan. Despite her best efforts, Jordan can’t resist the charm that is Reid Emory; however, as her gateway to a promotion – she is determined to keep it professional. The problem is, how does a woman – who has been treated as if she was invisible her entire life, handle it when those gorgeous eyes set their sights on her and refuse to look away.
I didn’t think it was possible for these books to get better and funnier, but they did! I think I laughed harder in this one than I have in the past two. Reid’s charm oozes through the pages and Max is well…Max – adding the comedy and head scratches that only Max can do with his rants and moments of (scary) genius.
My all time favorite thing about these books is that Rachel sets them up where they can technically be standalone, creating “inside” jokes for those who have read the first two books in this series. I mean poor Reid, if you read just this book you won’t even touch the depth (and insane humor) of what that man has been through!
If you haven’t checked out this series, please do! This book included, each one is absolutely hysterical (I think this one is my favorite now), so insanely sweet, a bit steamy, and I will say it again – a whole lot of fun! My face hurts from laughing and smiling when I finish reading these books! So sad there is only one left but can’t wait to read Jason’s story.
