Written by the same author as "Direct Dialling" this collection of poems is a memorably emotional account of the relationship between public and private worlds. All the poems testify to a subtle connection between the political and personal and reflect her obsession with East/West relations. Carol Rumens has published four collections of poetry andm is currently writer-in-residence at Edinburgh University.
