Frances, Sophie and Katie meet again at a school reunion and discover how their lives have changed. Each builds an idealized picture of her life - Katie is a successful fashion designer; Frances has a young son and a wealthy husband; Sophie has a happy marriage and a dream home. They resolve to keep in touch, but gradually each of them discovers that her friends' wonderful lives are far from perfect.
