One was a Yankee. One was a Rebel. They were the only two survivors of the bombardment of a New Mexico town at the end of the Civil War. After trying unsuccessfully to kill each other, they decide to become partners and go after some Confederate gold that was up for grabs. The trouble was that they weren't the only ones that knew about the hoard. Even after they had tracked it down, there was still more trouble than they could shake a stick at.
