I've only read the first three books of the Dresden Files - I intend to continue the series on Audio as I've heard James Marsters does an excellent job. However, I still really enjoyed this anthology of short stories and novellas. Jim Butcher does an excellent job of introducing each story and the stories themselves are excellent.

Those who know me know that I don't usually like anthologies very much, however this one, with excellent side-stories from the Dresden Files was truly genuis! All the stories had that real Dresden-feel to them, and I felt right at home from the very beginning of each.

It was a good way to tell Harry's story from different pov's as well, and that kept things even more interesting.

The last story was from after the last novel, and it was really hard to see Murphy and Billy try to fight evil without Harry, even if they are still hopeful that Harry might be alive, somehow.

Now, I'm even more impatient to get Ghost Story :D
