Grosso, Smithy and Lighthouse are three Liverpool lads that find it easier to steal for a living than work; Grafting they call it. Grosso, the brains behind the trio has decided with Smithy, the muscles; that it's time to move on from there petty criminal acts and join the big boys; it's not long before they find themselves mixed up in the seedy world of Sex and murder. The trouble playing with the big boys is that the punishment becomes more severe when things go wrong; as our trio find out when a murder takes place. How do they prove to the big boys that they had no involvement in the murder whilst trying to stay one step ahead of the Police; a very difficult situation since they have all the money stolen during the murder? Things go from bad to worse when the gang leader's brother who was killed comes looking for them as it becomes a cat and mouse game of survival. Does crime really pay?
