Commonly referred to as the 'KYBALION', this relic of Hermetic wisdom here has its name restored. The cover contains the origin and meaning of life in the universe: It depicts two intertwined flowers; one has its source in the "water of life" - only the contours of this flower are shown, repeating its aura in a clear indication that the flower symbolises the energy plane, which in the "Ancient Egyptian" tradition was called KA. The other flower symbolises structuring nature, which the Ancients called BA. The vignette points to the two all-forming flows of energy; "KA-BA" - sources of vital energy that are both one and opposite. But where two opposites (+ and -) appear, an interaction arises between them - the third creative principle "LA", represented in the image of the central flower. Therefore the vignette expresses the "principle of trinity" or [KA-BA-LA]. The ON refers to the great Nine Gods, representing the nine energy bodies, symbolised by the eye of Horus.
