I did like Silver Wolf Clan quite a bit. I loved how it went into detail about all things werewolf. Of course, it all starts with Grey’s transformation, which was less than normal. He lives on his own for six months without knowing if there’s others of his kind or where to find them. He can’t live a normal human life because Wolf is too strong and makes him dangerous. But then the local pack leader, Dean, finds Grey and becomes his mentor. After that we learn a whole lot about what it means to be a werewolf. There’s also a history lesson which I found super interesting toward the end after certain events occur.
The romance is pretty nonexistent in Silver Wolf Clan. Obviously Grey falls for the woman in the woods, Morgan. She’s aware of werewolves since she did see the thing that killed her sister, and whom she assumed killed Grey as well. This bit of knowledge makes their coming together much easier, because she doesn’t run screaming from the sight of him. However, Morgan wants to wait until marriage for any sexytimes, which is fine. That’s her right. But I do prefer having sexytimes in my Romance novels. They also don’t spend that much time getting to know each other, since the focus is on….other things.
Like I said, Silver Wolf Clan is really interesting. I do wish there had been more romance included, but I did love all of the world building that we got. The short length also made some of the scene transitions choppy, as we just jump from one situation to another without any build up. It’s a still a good read though.
