Emma is the romantic of the group. She has strong beliefs on how falling in love should be. She even has her perfect proposal planned out in her head.
Jack is someone who is at the house often. He considers the women to be his family but all of a sudden he realizes that his feelings for Emma are a little deeper than that.
The relationship was fun to watch develop but I had an issue with the way they handled things once the relationship grew serious. I mean, I get not wanting to seem all obsessive but I don't think any of these women understand the concept of telling a man how you really feel. Emma heaven forbid crossed a line with Jack by going to his apartment to cook dinner for him and he completely went all territorial and upset her.
While I see both sides of it I didn't like that it basically broke them up. And then out of the blue he proposes. I mean territorial of his apartment to ready to wed all because of fight. Romantic? Sure. Realistic? Not quite.
Not my favorite book in the series but there were some fun moments and I didn't give up on the series at all. I dove right into the next one.
