Martin Kohlbauer founded his practice in Vienna in 1991. Previously he had studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, in the Master Class of Prof. Gustav Peichl, for whom he also worked for several years. In that function he took responsibility for project managing the building of the art and exhibition hall in Bonn.

In addition to the design of exhibitions, his own oeuvre includes primarily large projects in which his architectural strength becomes apparent - high-density housing, a hospital, a wellness facility, office buildings and industrial developments. With his sculptural, bright and user-friendly architecture, Kohlbauer has had a sustainable and positive impact on Vienna's architecture.

The book presents his most important buildings since 1991 in a generously illustrated, typologically arranged compilation.
