The plot was pretty awesome. It was creepy when Piper finds the notebook with in the first few pages of the book. I was looking over my shoulder for that part. I actually did not figure out the mystery by the end, which is unusual for me. So I got to have the OMG did that just happen moment. I might have been too absorbed in Piper and Nick. I was seriously swooning over their cuteness.
I loved Piper and Nick’s interactions. It’s one of my favorite ways for a romance to bloom. I felt myself swoony at Nick and his persistence. I loved that he didn’t give up and he didn’t hide his agenda either. He was absolutely adorable. The way that he would make sassy Piper fumble over herself. So cute.
I liked the division of class, it’s sounds weird but I know in my own experience I was picked on elementary through middle school. By the time we got to high school there wasn’t really anyone picking on anyone. It was more you just stayed out of each other's way. The way Piper describes the line being drawn in the sand. You’ve learned who you can trust and who you can’t by that point.
Piper was pretty sassy and I liked that she was the school photographer. It gave her more of an ability to slide in and out of situations so it wouldn’t be weird if she was anywhere. I also liked that the book had so many different characters of different varieties. Piper’s core group of Tacey, Manny, Connor and Hadley. Then of course Nick, Tate and freaking Jackson. Then the other players like Stella, Kristen, Harrison and even Aimee. It makes things more interesting.
I don’t want to give anything away but I really enjoyed the book. It had me hooked and I felt like the mystery was awesome. A great read.
