Four hot cups of cocoa out of five
Ask Her at Christmas by Christi Barth was a heartwarming tale about Caitlin and Kyle. She has always loved Kyle her best friend, but never said a word. When he asks for her help to propose to another woman the tale that unfolds is delicious and I became completely wrapped up in the events. While both characters were not without flaws and a couple of times I wanted to knock them over the heads, I understood a lot of their actions and hoped like crazy they'd figure things out before it was too late. This was a clean, sweet tale and I enjoyed the magic of the holiday.
Three cups of peppermint coffee out of five
The Best Thing by Jaci Burton (Kent Brothers #3) shares the story of Tori and Brody who apparently made an appearance in another Kent Brother's tale and kissed. While I did not read the previous books, I was able to grasp their story. Since the kiss things have been awkward between them. Burton did a wonderful job of fleshing them out, and I found myself swept up in their romance. Overall, this was my favorite of the three tales.
