There is some good info in this book, but overall it had a *very* narrow approach to dealing with narcissistic parents - it assumes the reader will continue to interact with them, and focuses on how to deal with those interactions. There's also an assumption that the reader has narcissistic tendencies as well, with lots of cheesy self-help exercises to address that. The book doesn't really focus on healing (the "getting over" part of the subtitle) unless readers are struggling with narcissism themselves.

(Side note: This book makes a great case for the use of singular "they". The constant use of "he/she" was distracting.)
