L.A. Fatzinger was born in 1971, grew up in Littleton, Colorado, and spent most of his non-traditionally educated youth reading books and skiing moguls at Copper Mountain and Beaver Creek, Colorado.Prior to becoming a full-time writer, essayist, and critic, he spent his career as a technology investor, entrepreneur, CEO and investor, having founded more than ten software and services companies. He also founded one men's necktie company in his early twenties that was a total bust.In his early thirties he moved to Seattle, Washington, honing his storytelling skills in marketing departments for several software and technology companies, all of which are out of business.He has been featured in Inc., Forbes, PR Week, Seattle Business Journal, Denver Business Journal, The Seattle Times, and other publications where entrepreneurs like to see their names when building companies.The Salzburg Executioner is his first novel. He lives in Salzburg, Austria.
