Tennessee native Beth Riner retired from a 23-year English teaching career to move to scenic Monteagle Mountain, where she rediscovered not only herself but also her passion for writing. She writes weekly feature stories for The Grundy County Herald and is knee-deep into the next book in her Odd Job Annie cozy mystery series. Beth adores smartass men, blackberry cobbler, and Rooster, her rambunctious Boykin Spaniel, who lives with her in a 576-square-foot tiny home, aptly named Storybook Cottage.
