About the Author
As a retired private investigator specializing in missing persons cases, I had the privilege of working under the guidance of a retired FBI mentor when my journey began in the late 1980s. At that time search teams were nonexistent, and families relied solely on local police departments to find their loved ones. I assisted those families in their search efforts, often relying on basic missing person reports, telephone, newspaper articles, and public library resources. Later, Notably, I was part of a team alongside Todd Matthews on Yahoo Groups, where we collected data on missing persons and attempted to match their profiles with unidentified individuals across the country. Our efforts eventually grew into the Doe Network and Namus, which are online platforms that connect police reports, remains, and coroner's reports in an effort to bring missing home. After relocating to the Midwest in the early 1990s, I became licensed and worked on numerous cases across the USA, some of which have gained significant attention on true-crime channels. Later in life, I pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Abnormal Psychology to better understand the criminal mind and enhance my search efforts which later culminated into searching with a HRD dog. During my studies, I discovered a passion for literature, particularly the "Heroes Journey" Masterpieces in Literature, which sparked my writing interest. Following my formal retirement, I began learning about early social and cultural topics, leading me to explore Ancient Literature and religion. I found that the psychology of ancient people share striking similarities with modern human behaviors, including the universal connection to a divine being. My debut novel, "Return to Eden," weaves together my passions for missing persons, environmentalism, and ancient culture. Through my faith, I've studied ancient religions to deepen my understanding of the Bible, Torah, ancient religions and Myths. My life's experiences culminated into a remarkable fantasy-fiction novel: In the theme of the heroes journey.
