Melanie Stutt is a local Volunteer Fire Department member in her rural British Columbia community. She experiences wildfire in and around her community every year and has seen firsthand the importance of being prepared. Wildfires are now a reality of life for so many, and the first step in protection is planning ahead.
Melanie lives on a multigenerational farm with her husband, Justin, and son, Harvest. They have a countless array of cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, guinea foul, turkeys, cats, and dogs.
