From California originally, Ethan realized that science fiction stories have to hit him "just right," and they usually fail to do so. To that end, he decided to write his own. This is his first attempt at a novel, and he prays his readers (or perhaps reader, singular) will be forgiving. He lives and works in Japan with his two-year old Shiba Inu, Okachimachi. The dog is indisputably more famous than the man.
